Report & Takedown
Last updated 25 September 2026
How to tell us about content that breaks our Content Policy or the law, and what we do when you do. You do not need an account to send a notice by e-mail.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In North Cyprus, dial 155 for the police or 112 for emergencies.
1. Reporting in the app
Every post, comment, profile, message and album on PartFans has a Report option. Choose the reason that fits best:
- Spam
- Harassment
- Hate
- Violence
- Involves a minor
- Non-consensual content
- Impersonation
- Illegal
- Something else
Reports are reviewed by our moderators. The person you report is not told who reported them.
2. Urgent reports: minors and non-consensual content
When a post is reported as involving a minor or as non-consensual, it is hidden from everyone at once, before a moderator has looked at it, and stays hidden until the review is done. We would rather hide something wrongly for a short time than leave abuse visible.
Content confirmed to sexualise a minor is removed, the account is closed, the evidence is preserved as the law requires, and it is reported to the authorities. If you are the person in content shared without your consent, you can also write to [email protected] — you do not need to be a member, and you do not need to send us the material itself, only where it is.
3. Copyright takedown notices
If content on PartFans infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to act for, send a notice to [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice”. It must include:
- a description of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
- the link (URL) of each item on PartFans you want removed, precisely enough for us to find it;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
We may forward the notice, including your name and contact details, to the member who posted the content, so they can respond. Incomplete notices may delay action. Knowingly sending a false notice may make you liable for the harm it causes.
Members who repeatedly post infringing content will have their accounts closed.
Copyright and privacy notices can also be sent through the form at app.partfans.com/takedown, which gives you a case number and lets you follow the outcome.
How we keep identity and consent records for the people who appear in paid or sensitive content is described in our Records-Keeping Statement.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed after a copyright notice and you believe that was a mistake — because you own the work, have a licence, or the use is otherwise lawful — send a counter-notice to [email protected] with:
- the link to the removed content, or a description of it and where it appeared;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and why;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address;
- your consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts, and to being contacted by the person who sent the original notice;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We pass the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us they have started legal proceedings, we may restore the content.
4. Privacy and image-rights takedowns
You can ask us to remove content that shows you, or reveals your personal information, without your consent — even if it is not explicit. Write to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy takedown” and include:
- the link to each item;
- how it concerns you (for example, it is a picture of you, or it contains your address or phone number);
- that you did not consent to it being published, or have withdrawn that consent;
- how we can reach you.
We may ask for something to confirm the content concerns you, and we use it only for that purpose. You can also make this request on behalf of someone else if you are legally authorised to act for them.
5. Requests from law enforcement and authorities
Authorities can send requests to [email protected]. Please include the requesting authority, the legal basis for the request, the account or content concerned, and a way to verify the request. We disclose member data only when the law requires it, or without delay where we believe there is an imminent risk of death or serious harm to someone. Where the law allows, we tell the member concerned before disclosing their data.
We can be asked to preserve data while a formal request is prepared.
6. What to expect
- Reports involving minors or non-consensual content are dealt with first. The content is hidden as soon as the report arrives in the app.
- Other reports and notices are reviewed by a person, in the order they arrive. We aim to act on them promptly.
- Moderators can dismiss a report, mark content sensitive, hide or remove it, or suspend the account. Every decision is recorded.
- When we act on an e-mailed notice, we reply to tell you what we did. If you disagree with a decision about your own content or account, reply to us and it will be looked at again.
